Moving a site from Drupal 10 to Drupal 11 is mostly routine, until it is not. This sprint gives you a full day to work on your own upgrade with experienced developers in the room to help when you get stuck.
What to bring
- A laptop with a local copy of your site running, and a recent database.
- Your composer.json and a list of custom modules.
- Ideally, a report from the Upgrade Status module so we can start straight away.
The day
We start at 9:30 with coffee and a short talk on the common blockers: abandoned contrib modules, deprecated APIs in custom code and patches that no longer apply. Then we split into tables by problem, not by organisation. Lunch is provided. We finish with a round-up of what got fixed and what is still blocked, and fixes go back to Drupal.org where we can.
