An independent network for people who build public services with Drupal

Privacy notice

This notice explains what personal data this website collects and what we do with it. It covers this website only. The community platform is a separate service.

The Government Drupal Developers Network (GDDN) is an independent professional network. It is responsible for the personal data described here.

What we collect

  • Contact form messages. When you use the contact form we store your name, email address, organisation (if you give it), the topic you choose and your message, together with the IP address your message came from. We also email a copy to the GDDN team so we can reply.
  • Server and error logs. Like any website, the web server records the IP address and pages requested, and the site keeps a short log of errors and sign-in attempts. We use these only to keep the site running and secure.

What we don’t do

We don’t use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. We don’t sell or share your data, and we don’t add you to a mailing list.

How long we keep it

Contact form messages are deleted from the website automatically 90 days after they are sent. The team deletes its email copies once they are no longer needed to deal with your message.

Where it is stored

This website is hosted on Oracle Cloud in London, in the UK.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you. Use the contact form and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
