Webinar: redirects, files and the last mile of a Drupal 7 migration

An hour on the parts of a migration that get left until last: redirect maps, orphaned files and the go-live checklist.

Most migration plans cover content types and fields in detail, then run out of steam at the end. This webinar is about the end: the work between "the content is in" and "the old server is switched off".

We will cover

  • Building and testing a redirect map, and using the 404 log after go-live.
  • Finding owners for old PDFs and files, and what to do when nobody claims them.
  • A go-live checklist you can copy, from DNS to search console.

The session is 40 minutes of presentation and 20 minutes of questions. It will be recorded and captioned. RSVP on the community platform to get the joining link.
