Volunteer with us

GDDN is run by volunteers. If you would like to help look after the network, tell us a little about yourself.

How you can help

GDDN is run by volunteers from the community it serves. If you would like to help, these are the kinds of work where another pair of hands is useful.

  • Organising events. Planning meetups and online sessions, finding speakers and looking after the people who come.
  • Writing and content. News posts, write-ups of events, and keeping the pages on this website clear and up to date.
  • Moderating the community. Welcoming new members and keeping discussions kind, useful and within the code of conduct.
  • Design and accessibility. Improving how the website and the community platform look and work, and checking them against WCAG 2.2.
  • Development. Working on the Drupal website and the community platform.
  • Something else. If you have a skill or an idea that is not on this list, tell us about it in your cover letter.

You don’t have to be a developer, and you don’t have to choose only one.
