The DrupalCon Rotterdam site now signs off with “See you in Edinburgh”. DrupalCon Edinburgh 2027, the next DrupalCon Europe, will run from 25 to 28 October 2027.
What we know
- The dates: Monday 25 to Thursday 28 October 2027, four days.
- The city: Edinburgh.
That is all so far. The event page says “More details coming soon”. The venue, ticket prices and the call for sessions have not been announced, and neither has the list of summits, so we do not yet know whether the Government Summit that began in Rotterdam will return.
Why it matters for public sector teams
Conference travel is hard to get approved in the public sector, and travel abroad is harder still. A DrupalCon in Scotland means no international travel for teams in the UK. It is also a year away, which is enough time to put it in next year’s training budget.
It is a good moment to think about speaking, too. The keynote in Rotterdam asked the community for more real examples of what Drupal does, and public services have plenty of them.
